Canyoning Tour 1

The first tour through the Alpenrosenklamm (upon request, a Level 1 tour can also be done in Hachleschlucht or Obere Auerklamm) offers you, on one hand, the opportunity to get to know the equipment and techniques well. On the other hand, this gorge impresses with its beautiful rock formations, small waterfalls, and natural water slides. During the hike, you can expect jumps into pools up to 5 meters high, natural water slides up to 8 meters long, several abseiling spots up to 17 meters high, and waterfalls that are tackled together.

Canyoning Tour 2

The second canyoning tour through the Lower Auerklamm pumps adrenaline through your body. This tour offers everything a canyoning enthusiast could wish for: jumps up to 11 meters, natural water slides, abseiling points, and waterfalls. Pure adrenaline is guaranteed. For those who find all the courage and action a bit too much, there is the option to be abseiled by our guides. This canyoning tour will definitely be an amazing experience.

Each activity lasts approximately 3 hours. If multiple activities are booked on the same day, we will take a short lunch break at the camp in between tours. Food and drinks are not included. You are welcome to bring your own food. Upon request, we are also happy to order something from the Pizza and Kebap House (an order form is available on site). Cold drinks and ice cream are available on site.

LEISURE AREA / SUN TERRACE

Our approx. 3000 m² Outoor base with sun terrace invites you to stay and relax, enjoy a cold drink, before or after the activities.

For our guests there are also football goals, a slackline and a volleyball court available at our camp.

When the weather is nice, you can use our fire pit for free to grill yourself and then end the day with a campfire. You need to provide your own food, drinks and charcoal; we will be happy to provide you with barbecue tongs, plates and cutlery. Reserve the barbecue spot in advance.

Canyoning Level 1

The Canyoning Tour Level 1 is ideal for beginners, but also suitable for advanced canyoners.
Requirements for this tour are basic swimming skills, sure-footedness, not afraid of heights, physical health, good physical condition, adventurous, and no alcohol or drugs.
Maximum weight: 130 kg.
Minimum age 12 years (minors only when accompanied by an adult)
Minimum height 135 cm

Where do the activities start and end?
We start and end always at our outdoor camp; Dorfstrasse 7, A-6432 Sautens

When are the meeting points for the activities?
Monday to Friday at 09:00, 12:30 and 15:30
On Saturday and Sunday at 08:30, 10:30, 12:30 and 14:30.
Please be at our outdoor camp 15–30 minutes before the start of your activity.

How long does the canyoning tour last?
The canyoning tours each last approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.
You are in the gorge for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
An additional 1 to 1.5 hours should be planned for changing, taxi transfers from the base to the entry point and back again, and for the safety talk prior to the tour.

Is there a lunch break between the tours in the canyoning combo package?

Will the activity be cancelled if the weather is bad?
No, we run our activities in all weather conditions, because you get wet when rafting and canyoning anyway. Of course, extreme weather conditions can mean that a tour cannot be carried out for safety reasons.

What do I wear under the neoprene equipment?
Swimwear and, if available, functional underwear. No cotton clothing please.

How do we get to the river/canyon and back again?
All transfers from our camp to the activities and back again, are organized and carried out by us and are included in the price.

How are the activities accompanied?
All of our activities are led by state-certified guides.

Do you have to jump during canyoning if you don’t dare to?
Jumping is not mandatory during a canyoning tour. Any spot that is jumped can also be rappelled down by the guide.

Alcohol
Our outdoor activities are extreme sports activities and we have a 0.0% policy during all of the activities. This means no alcohol before and during the activities.Guests who are intoxicated will be excluded from the tour without exception and without a refund. After the tour, you are very welcome to enjoy a beer with us :)
